Tere! is anyone going?

is there a website for this year? I looked at the St P offroad club site but everything needs updating as usual..

what are the regulations on tyre size for Tr3? and does anyone know the total distance this year?

Hi Jez,

You should not be afraid - there will be Estonians in Vepski as always. The distance will be approximately the same as every year because Russians will not make new tracks, but use the same old ones with some slight modifications.

So, do not think about coming or not coming - it is still considered to be the coolest event of the year. Not so large scale as Ladoga, but more demanding if I may say so. And there will be Estonians to winch/tow you and your yellow beast.

ahh I feel much better now

the price of Russian gas is getting more expensive and I figure maybe it would be nice to let an Estonian tow us for a change - this could be a cheap competition

is it 200kms or more? any idea on costs?

does anyone have any ozi explorer maps for this area we could *cough* borrow?

If you need Ozi maps from "Vepsäläisten Metsä" area and old waypoints..let me know. I can give a copy to Kimi. It's better to do that way. As far as I know maps are for you like "saimaan kartta"... By the way Tapsa might also come...

it would be good to see Tapsa and Tommi coming - I think the more friendly faces the better!!

It's Kim, NOT Kimmy. You always mispelled. Vepskiy Les belongs this Euro 4x4 Championship series (http://eal.4x4.ee/index.php?option=com_ ... Itemid=128). Name is funny cause all the documents are only russian. When baltic countries start to to believe that they are now part of EU not Russia. And in European Union accectable language is English (not russian where even the letters looks somehow weird).

Paljud meist siis plaanivad Vepsale minna? Infot kuidagi vähevõitu. Kuidas raha saatmisega sel aastal. Mait, kas sul on rohkem infi?

Meil Sepoga ikka plaan ATV'dega peale minna 3 korda, äkki õnnestub seekord rohkem sõita - juhul kui muidugi Klapper ära ei lõhu.

can anyone explain the prologue please; do we have to complete a number of laps with the fastest time coming first or is it a question of the number of laps you complete in the time allowed?

I guess when it says you have 30 minutes from the end of prolgue to get to Parc Ferme you can refuel just before you enter Parc Ferme?
