Question about Uaz´s portal axles

Hi there!!

I have a little problem with my new UAZ-project. I already have a new rear portal axle, but front axle is missing...!!!! So i think maybe You guys can help me about this.

Is this axle hard to find? Do any of you know where I can find old or new front axle. And how much it costs?

What can you tell me about these axles. Weaknesses/best things, spare parts etc.

Quite hard to find but not impossible! I know one guy has one front portal axle, price tag he asks is 1000EUR. I'll make a call and check if he still has it. Let you know tomorrow.

Or you could occasionally browse kb.www.ee, www.soov.ee and www.osta.ee for UAZ469B's (B stands for military version). You could get lucky and find a whole donor UAZ cheaper.

Ouch!!! I think that I can built my UAZ with several of varietes of different axles for that price.... even with lockers... Maybe not, but anyway

I must keep looking about the front axle. Maybe one day I´ll have it.

Hello Finland...

who are realy good. I belive that they have an axle for you.
They only speek Estonian but if u are lucke the son is araound to help you.
1000 Eur is not that expensive for an an axle in good condition.

I got one front axle and are either looking for a rear one ore sell it.
