PARTICIPATION FEE AND ACCOMODATIONS:
Participation fee is 140e, it can be paid by in cash (euro’s) in registration. Accomodation places in 2-3 person rooms are available in Otava koulutila (own sleeping bags), weekend 100e/room. COMPETITION CLASSES:
The competition series is intended for cars with 2 axles and 4 wheel drive, whose total registration weight is below 3500kg (or actual weight below 3000kg in competition readiness). There are four competition classes: Original, Standard, Modified and Prototype. For safety reasons at least two persons must always remain with the car all through the duration of the competition.
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT FOR ALL COMPETITION CLASSES:
- first aid kit
- fire extinguisher of at least 2 kg capacity
- an operating GSM phone, whose number is given to the organisers
- seat belts for all competitors in the car
- recovery points (front and rear)
- winch
- tree protecting winch strap
- recovery strap and two schackles
Any team concicting wholly of females is allowed a 51mm increase in tire size for their specific competition class.
PENALTIES:
The organisers publish a list of penalties, so called penalty table. Penalty table is given to the competitors in registration.
CLASS REQUIREMENTS:
Original:
- street legal, registered, insured and must have valid annual inspection (MOT)
- max. tyre diameter 787mm
- suspension lift is allowed up to 51mm only by replacing or modifying springs. - portal axles not allowed
- open top cars needs main roll bar with rear supports
Standard

- max. tyre diameter 838mm
- max.tyre size with portal axles is 787mm
- open top cars needs main roll bar with rear supports
Modified
- registered and insured or have specific temporary registration and insurance
- max. tyre diameter 915mm
- max.tyre size with portal axles is 838mm
- open top cars main roll bar with rear supports
Prototype
- registered and insured or have specific temporary registration and insurance
- max. tyre diameter 1043mm
- open top cars six point roll cage, others main roll bar with rear supports
MAPS AND CONTROL POINTS
Competition area maps in Ozi –format are available beforehand from Ari Myllylä (ari.myllyla@saunalahti.fi). IF YOU HAVE OLDER OZI -MAPS FOR THE AREA YOU HAVE TO UPDATE THEM DUE TO NEW AREAS. Control points are available in registration in paper, and in OZI –formats CD and USB memory sticks.
A visit to the control point is proven by digital camera. All competition classes share the same control points that have different competition points values according to difficulty. Competition points are the same for all competition classes.
