the total of all the damage from Ladoga 2008;
Trailing arm bush - replaced on day 6
radius arm bushes - still there but looking a little bit upset
two fuel filters - replaced, not a surprise, I took about 20ltrs of water and mud out of the tank after a river crossing with the filler cap open
erm other than that.........
mudguards - all looking a little bit bent, I think I should replace these
it was a nice test drive, I think we need to do some valving for the suspension to get it right and then its just a question of driving the car and getting used to it.
its not an easy car to drive because its immensely powerful but that will change with experience - I think we only used about 50% of what its capable of

Total damage: 1 power steering pump & the steering wheel is very very unwell lol (I kept bending it whenever I tried to steer ). its not our normal tried and tested pump so we didnt know if it would work or not, we will go back to the pump we know works well..
due to a nice stick that a beaver left behind we also have a hole in the drivers floor - I think Im going to replace that panel with a steel one!
Vepsskii was interesting because it allowed me to decide what to change and what to keep for next year - the list is getting smaller and we are starting to get used to what the car can do, fingers crossed next year will be good We didnt really know anything about how Vepsskii works before we got there, Priit Aus was very helpful as was Una (big thanks guys) so 6th place was ok for a research trip
will we get a chance to bash doors with silverbeast 2.0 next year?

it would be nice to come over but we cant afford any more trips this year, it was scary being stuck in Finland with only 20 euro left to get back to England with sponsorship is impossible for us to find, and we are just normal guys with normal jobs
....but.. we hope to come to Klapperjaht next year, hopefully (as we wont be building a new car next year) there will be enough money to let us come and do some more races in 2009

ahh its old news now
I'll keep updating if/when things change on Mouse, Im in the process of building some stuff for other people and I must also give Mouse a winter service so it is ready for next seasons competitions
I have an idea kicking around in my head about building something new..
........I must try to resist the voices in my head
