true........ keep banging my head against a wall until the either the wall falls down or I pass out, I'm to stupid to give up..Toy Zuki kirjutas:Just Keep Fighting mate! remember when it gets darkest?
the other side panels are in place
I want the petrol tank as close to the bulkead as possible so I need to do a little cutting and some more welding
from this...
to this...
and a little from underneath
I added the fuel filler that I made a couple of days ago - I think it looks pretty neat, I dont know what you guys think?
I need to fit the fuel pumps and find a place for the fuel pressure regulators and changeover valve and thats the fuel system done

John came round and got most of the wiring done - theres a lot of it!
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF15472007-03-28.JPG)
and Mike make some fibreglass - we used the shape from a Mitsubishi Evo
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF16002007-03-30.JPG)
this fits too well but Im not sure if we will use it
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF15912007-03-30.JPG)
this is the start of the upper mounts for the suspension
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF16082007-04-01.JPG)
I like to save a little weight by using thin steel and only making the structural areas thicker, it should work but Im sure we will find out in the race
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF16122007-04-01.JPG)
The front axle gets stuck on, Ive traded some of the anti-dive geometry to get better speed characteristics, the suspension is upgraded so it will cope with the changes
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF16492007-04-02.JPG)
The bulkhead is made and rilled - its strong enough and wont rattle but it only weighs 1.5kgs
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF16572007-04-02.JPG)
The battery box is made
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF16652007-04-02.JPG)
looks a bit more like a car
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF16612007-04-02.JPG)
but still lots of welding to do
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF16182007-04-01.JPG)
I like this picture

we start to make front suspension mounts
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF16712007-04-04.JPG)
and parts for the coolant swirl tank and hydraulic tanks
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF16762007-04-04.JPG)
everyones gone quiet... have I done something wrong?![Shocked ](./images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)

coilovers are from Race Runner
2.5" bodys - we use them last year but with seperate springs (Landrover style), it seems easier to use them as coilovers though
ha - snow, you guys think you have it tough, in England we know about deeeep snow, sometimes up to 8-10mm..
I will come and show you how to drive in these dangerous conditions sometime
(ok.......... mostly we just have rain.. we know a lot about rain..)

its similar in the UK and I dont think it does much good?? I can understand keeping a few secrets (everyone does thatestonians for some reason tend to keep their builds secret
![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
Big cooling fan now has a home - I will be good for sucking mosquitoes off the windscreen
![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
we find a nice guage - it does speed, RPM, temperature, fuel level, stop watch and a lot of other things, its totally waterproof
starting to make homes for the hydraulic bump stops, the suspension we used last year made a massive difference to how fast the car went, these will make as much a difference again - we can hit things faster and not break anything (.............hopefully!)
fitting more tyres... its not a fun job so we do 1 every day and its not so bad
we look at different track rods, Landrover, Volvo, Unimog and... the big ones...
so of course we use the biggest
![Shocked ](./images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)
Zil power (thanks to the moon buggy team for the information!!)

![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF17742007-04-11.JPG)
starting to look right - lots to do though
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF17642007-04-10.JPG)
we make convert the other knuckle to take the Zil track rod end
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF17702007-04-11.JPG)
Vince makes some flanges to make the flexible joints fit to the exhaust manifold
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF17732007-04-11.JPG)
the electronics are built to make the engine work - we should get this in the next 10 days
this weekend we get the front axle finished, the winch trays fitted and the cab finished. the back axle will also be finished (hahaha its a good plan, not sure if it works out that way though...)
so what midifiations has everyone else made for this year? or is it all still top secret?
is Priit bringing his sauna?

![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF17842007-04-12.JPG)
the castor is set to the number of degrees we like to use - its a nice easy job with the drill and a drilling jig
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF17802007-04-12.JPG)
we are almost professionals at looking and not doing anything
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF18362008-04-06.JPG)
everything gets looked at for a long time - we pretend this is because we dont want to make a mistake, really its because we are lazy

![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF18682008-04-06.JPG)
and we make a spanner
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF18792008-04-07.JPG)
it fits the ram - we can fix this now if there are any problems
![Pilt](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/944469/DSCF18412008-04-06.JPG)
we find a place to put the bearing for the front propshaft (its a 2 piece)
